This year, the Student Horror Film Festival received 22 fantastic horror films, representing more than 80 student filmmakers. “The students who have participated in our festival really enjoy the film industry and many have gone on to film school.” Said Jeff Shubdza, event chair.
2010 Student Horror Finalists

Emmaus Theater
The final films in our 5th Annual Student Horror Film Festival were shown at the Emmaus Theater at 2:00 pm on October 24th.
Our 6th Annual Student Horror Film Festival took the Lehigh Valley by storm with a record crowd who attended the festival. Students from the Lehigh Valley area’s High School and Middle schools participated in the event. They had just 96 hours to create, edit and deliver a less than 6 minute horror film to qualify for cash and prizes. Over 60 students took on the challenge to represent their schools. The films were screened and judge by a panel of films industry professionals. Their scores were combined to determine the winner.
"This year's event brought the largest crowd we've had to date. The broad range of films showed great creativity among the kids. We really appreciate the parents and teachers support" said Jeff Shubdza, event chair.
