The 2010 Student Horror Film Festival is Closed! The final films are received. The final films will now be judged. Final films will be posted here Friday.

Here's how it works:

  1. You report to 800 Pine Street, Emmaus High School Administration Bldg. on October 7th at 6:00 pm for our kick-off meeting, and register for the competition. Those who cannot attend this meeting can access the rules from this web page however your must contact us to let us know you are competing in the festival.
  2. 6:00 - 6:15 pm - Registration
  3. 6:15 - 7:15 pm - Kick-off meeting where you will receive information on how best to compete, tips and tricks from professionals and the rules of the competition.
  4. You have only 96-hours to complete the competition and return your finished film to us outside the Emmaus Theater on Monday, October 11th between 6:00 - 7:00 pm

This is an open event for all high school and middle school students. All of those who qualify will have your opportunity to have your films shown, up on the big screen in the Emmaus Theater in front of a live audience on October 24th at 2:00 pm. An awards ceremony follows.

October 7th at 6:00 pm, with only 96 hours to shoot, edit and deliver a less than 6 minute video to qualify for cash and prizes. The final films are due Monday between 6-7 pm, October 11th, 2010. This is an open event for all high school and middle school students. All of those who qualify will you’re your opportunity to have your films shown, up on the big screen in the Emmaus Theater in front of a live audience on October 24th at 2:00 pm. This is fun filled, gut wrenching, teamwork building contest. Students are provided the following:

  1. Theme or subject matter to choose from such as Black Cats
  2. Location references
  3. Dialog or lines that are required.

The content and film must be family friendly, no R rated material is allowed.
