Emmaus 2009 Wildlife Art Festival

Wildlife Art Festival in EmmausOn September 12, 2009 the Emmaus Arts Commission in association with the Wildlands Conservancy, will hold its 1st Annual Wildlife Art Festival.  This inaugural event will showcase the Lehigh Valley's award-winning nature and wildlife artists along with environmental groups and animal preservation officers. The Wildlife Art Festival will showcase artists and craftsmen, photographers and demonstrations integrated with musicians and entertainers.

Hop on the FREE Heritage Days Trolley and join us for the Wildlife Art Festival! Trolley pick-ups are located at Emmaus Moravian Church, 1803 House, Knauss Homestead, Shelter House, Emmaus Historical Society, Shelter House, God's Acre Cemetery and the Wildlands Conservancy. Shuttle runs approximately every half hour.

Directions to Pool Wildlife

FREE to the public. All proceeds benefit the above organizations. Please bring your family for a day of history, food, fun and wonderful art! Trolley Transportation will be coordinated with the Emmaus Main Street Program throughout the day.

Wildlands Conservancy will provide wildlife education and entertainment at their 72-acre Pool Wildlife Sanctuary during the day long Wildlife Arts Festival. The Pool Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the heart of the Lehigh Valley along the Little Lehigh Creek approximately ½ -mile from Emmaus High School where the art show portion of the Wildlife Arts Festival will be held. During the day, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, there will be environmental education programs, including guided nature hikes on the Sanctuary’s extensive trail system, free access to the Lehigh River Watershed Exhibit, and a display of menagerie animals including owls and mammals.
